Maranda Ngue

Development Associate

Maranda Ngue is a Development Associate at Resilient Cities Catalyst, where she leads efforts to source new funding opportunities, conduct research on member cities to build knowledge assets, and cultivate strong relationships with donors and institutions.

Prior to joining Resilient Cities Catalyst, Maranda served as a Gift Marshal during her time at Harvard College. In this leadership role, she strategized and marketed the Senior Gift, a philanthropic fundraising campaign that funds many programs essential to the college experience such as the arts, athletics, and financial aid. She developed initiatives to help raise awareness about the importance of philanthropy and giving back to future students to the broader undergraduate community.

In addition to this experience, Maranda worked with several organizations dedicated to strengthening marginalized communities. She was a Co-President of Harvard Undergraduate Students for Myanmar, in which she organized panels and events to fuel discussions on the sociopolitics and culture of the Southeast Asian country that her parents immigrated from. She also helped raise money for Elizabeth House, a nonprofit emergency shelter for pregnant women experiencing homelessness, in order to pursue her passion for gender equality.

Maranda graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology, a minor in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality, and a language citation in Spanish.
