U.S. News: New Nonprofit Rises From the Ashes of 100 Resilient Cities
A new nonprofit focused on resilience for cities officially launched on Tuesday, not long after a similar venture was shut down last year.
Resilient Cities Catalyst is being led by former executives from 100 Resilient Cities, a climate change resilience-focused initiative funded by The Rockefeller Foundation that shuttered last summer.
Michael Berkowitz, the former president of the venture and a founding principal of Resilient Cities Catalyst, said in a statement last July that 100 Resilient Cities would "wind down" and "new efforts will emerge to help the network of cities continue to share best practices with one another and drive this movement forward."
