The California Resilience Partnership (CRP), has partnered with local nonprofit and public partners since 2019 to facilitate implementation of priority, high-impact climate resilience projects that benefit historically marginalized and climate-vulnerable California communities, while advancing actionable knowledge exchange and California’s global climate leadership.
CRP has evolved since it's inception to better meet the resilience needs of local places and at the state level. Through deep work in greater Los Angeles, greater San Diego, greater Sacramento, and the Central Coasts, the program unearthed funding and implementation challenges that underscored the need in California to strengthen innovative partnerships and catalyze philanthropic funding, in concert with public resources, to better advance action. From this need, CRP laid the groundwork for the California Resilience Implementation Accelerator initiative (“the Accelerator”).
Anchored by the Accelerator, CRP now acts as the umbrella for RCC and partners to integrate and uplift complementary existing efforts from partners across California that better inform resilience implementation and action.

Advisory Board
The CRP Advisory Board includes key leaders across sectors, including philanthropy, non-profits, the private sector, academia, and other critical stakeholders representing regions across California. Advisory Board members provide strategic guidance on CRP projects and programmatic activities, inform selection of future regions based on needs and opportunities, and identify opportunities for new cross-sectoral partnerships to support the CRP program. The Advisory Board meets quarterly and is a key partner informing ongoing development and implementation of CRP. CRP also has a State Liaison who coordinates participation by representatives of State agencies.
